THRUST WEED KILLER: EFFECTIVE WEED CONTROL WITHOUT HARMING GRASS

Key Highlights:

Exceptional at managing a broad spectrum of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.
Contains a unique blend of active ingredients: 2,4-D, dicamba & demethylamine salt, ensuring robust control over a wide variety of weeds, especially ragwort.

Thrust weed killer also targets the following weeds:

Susceptible: Thistle, creeping (plants up to 50 cm high).
Moderately susceptible: Buttercup, creeping, Ragwort, common, Dock, broad-leaved, Dock, curled.
USAGE IN TANK MIX:

Enhance weed control by using Thrust in a tank mix.
Combine with Hurler for improved efficacy, providing better control over docks, buttercup, and cow parsley, among others.

Application Guidelines:

Treat ragwort during the rosette stage, before flowering and during vigorous growth.
Ragwort control is typically conducted in spring or autumn, before flower spikes emerge.
Ensure a minimum of 14 days before reintroducing grazing animals.
All ragwort should be completely eradicated or removed before allowing livestock to return, which may take longer than three to four weeks.
Apply ideally when most weeds are small and in the seedling stage.
Use a medium spray when applying with either a knapsack or tank sprayer.
Pet-safe once dry.
Allow at least 4 days after application before rolling or mowing.
If recently mown or grazed, wait 2 weeks before applying Thrust weed killer.
Thrust herbicide may affect clover; refrain from use if clover is crucial for grazing land.
Only apply on grassland established for at least 12 months.
Application Rates:

Knapsack Sprayer:

Use 90ml Thrust in 5-10L water, covering 250m.
For better dock control, use a tank mix of 60ml Thrust + 25ml Hurler in 5-10L water, covering 250m.
Farm, ATV, Tank Sprayer:

Apply 3.5L/ha of Thrust in 200 litres of water per hectare.
For a tank mix with a boom sprayer, combine 2.5 L of Thrust with 1.0L of Hurler in 200-400L of water, covering 10,000m.
Importance of Using Thrust Weed Killer Where Ragwort and Grazing Animals are Present:

Ragwort ingestion can be fatal to horses and grazing cattle.
Ragwort poisoning in livestock is hard to detect until it's too late.
A single ragwort plant can produce over 10,000 seeds in a season, leading to rapid spread.
Seeds can germinate over several years, increasing infestation levels.
Regular control programs are crucial for ragwort eradication.
Livestock are typically not attracted to growing ragwort, but wilted plants become palatable.
Complete control of common ragwort may require spraying over two years.
Neglecting ragwort control may result in legal consequences.
