THISTLEX: EFFECTIVE THISTLE WEED CONTROL IN PASTURES AND GRASSLAND

Key Highlights:

Thistlex is a systemic herbicide that translocates to the root, ensuring comprehensive plant eradication.
Rainfast within 2 hours of application.
Thistlex demonstrates excellent efficacy against spear and creeping thistles, while also effectively managing other weeds such as nettles, dandelion, mayweed, clover, vetch, and tare.
Not recommended for treating Japanese knotweed.
Due to increased demand for manure to replace peat in composts and support homegrown vegetable production, products containing clopyralid, like Thistlex, should not be applied to grass intended for hay production. This precaution minimizes the risk of clopyralid residues affecting sensitive crops through manure application.
Application Notes and Guidelines:

Apply Thistlex for optimal results when thistles are in the rosette stage, approximately 200mm across.
Thistlex carries no LERAP (Local Environmental Risk Assessment for Pesticides) restrictions, making it suitable for use near water features, lakes, and drainage channels.
Exclude livestock from treated areas for at least 7 days post-spraying. Apply a single application per year on established grasses (1 year old or older).
Thistlex is intended for use with a boom sprayer exclusively.
