Solantel 50mg/ml Oral Suspension for Sheep

Solantel is a 5 litre oral drench for sheep containing closantel 50mg/ml. It is used for the treatment of chronic and subacute fasciolosis caused by liver fluke, including mature and late immature flukes from 5 weeks.

Solantel is also used for the treatment of sheep nasal bot fly and inhibited, L4 and adult stages of Haemonchus contortus, commonly known as barber pole worm. This makes it a useful sheep drench where closantel is required as part of a planned flock parasite control programme.

The 5 litre pack is suitable for flock use and should be administered orally at the correct dose rate according to bodyweight.

For sheep only. Meat and offal withdrawal period: 56 days. Not authorised for use in ewes producing milk for human consumption, including during the dry period. Do not use within 1 year before first lambing in ewes intended to produce milk for human consumption.
