Jameson’s Slurry Ease is a 250g biological slurry improver designed to help reduce crusting, improve slurry consistency, retain nutrients and control odour. It contains a combination of beneficial bacteria and enzymes that work together to break down fibrous material in slurry, making it easier to manage, agitate and spread.

The enzymes begin breaking down the bonds that hold fibrous material together, while the bacteria support continued breakdown during storage. This helps reduce crusting, caking, blocked pipes and spreading issues, giving a more uniform slurry at application.

Slurry Ease also helps retain valuable nitrogen by incorporating ammonia into microbial protein, reducing losses through volatilisation during storage and spreading. Once applied to land, this organically bound nitrogen can provide a useful nutrient source for soil microbes.

By helping reduce ammonia levels and break down sulphurous compounds, Slurry Ease can also help reduce odour in livestock buildings, outdoor stores and during slurry spreading.

Each 250g sachet treats up to 200m³ or 44,000 gallons of slurry. It can be added directly to the reception pit or mixed with water and applied over slatted floors into the slurry channel.

Application Rate
Use one 250g sachet of Slurry Ease per 200m³ or 44,000 gallons of total slurry store capacity.

Apply according to the capacity of the slurry store rather than the amount of slurry currently present. Distribute the product as evenly as possible. Agitation is ideal for dispersing the bacteria throughout the store.

For under-slat stores, mix Slurry Ease thoroughly with plenty of water and pour it through the slats. Where possible, apply it so that a pool forms over the crust.

Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate or freeze for longer storage periods. Keep out of reach of children.
