Equest Pramox Horse Wormer

Equest Pramox is a broad-spectrum oral wormer for horses, formulated to control a wide range of internal parasites including encysted small redworm and tapeworm. The gel combines two active ingredients, moxidectin and praziquantel, to provide comprehensive parasite control in a single treatment.

Each syringe contains sufficient gel to treat one horse up to 700kg at the recommended dose rate of 0.4mg moxidectin/kg bodyweight and 2.5mg praziquantel/kg bodyweight. The calibrated syringe allows accurate dosing, with each graduation treating 25kg bodyweight.

Equest Pramox is commonly used as part of a strategic worming programme. The recommended dosing interval for control of small redworm is 13 weeks.

Care should be taken to accurately dose foals, ponies and low bodyweight horses to avoid overdosing.

Do not use in pregnant or lactating mares or in foals under 6½ months of age.
