Larke 10L
Larke 10L
Larke is 750 g/l MCPA. A selective herbicide for the control of many broad-leaved weeds in cereals and grassland.
Grassland:
Application Rate: 1.8 to 2.2 L product/ha
Maximum Total Dose: 4.4 L product/ha
Usage on established grassland and leys not less than 1 year old is recommended. Apply LARKE during spring and summer when growing conditions are favourable. Treat grass intended for hay or silage 3-4 weeks before cutting. While clover growth may be temporarily stunted, it typically recovers by the following spring. In case of new seedling weeds, follow-up applications may be necessary. Allow 4-6 weeks between successive treatments if persistent weeds prevail.
A top dressing ten days before treatment is advised to aid weed kill and subsequent sward recovery. For optimal control, target annual weed species while they are primarily in the seedling stage. Perennial weeds should be sprayed during their peak growth period, typically when flower buds are forming. Perennial weed response to treatment may vary, with aerial parts often killed, although suppression commonly occurs. Vigorous grass growth at the time of treatment can reduce weed recovery.
Apply in 200 - 400 L water/ha.
Grassland (Seed Crops):
Application Rate: 2.1 L product/ha
Maximum Total Dose: 2.1 L product/ha
Treatment is safest when grasses have at least four leaves and have begun to tiller, at least five weeks prior to ear emergence. The ideal timing varies depending on the grass species and strain. Do not exceed 2.1 L/ha of LARKE.
Apply in 200 - 400 L water/ha.
Mixing and Spraying:
Fill the tank halfway with clean water, add the required amount of LARKE, and then fill the tank with the remaining clean water while gently agitating until thoroughly mixed. Triple rinse containers with water and include the rinsing in the spray tank. Apply using a MEDIUM/COARSE spray (BCPC).
Tank Cleaning:
Thoroughly wash equipment immediately after use. Rinse three times with water, drain, and allow to dry. Residual herbicide in the sprayer may harm susceptible crops if reused for subsequent spraying.
